(2)How to build a chicken farm? antiviral drugs!

6.Use of antibiotics and antiviral drugs

It is possible to use some antibiotics and antiviral drugs for normal prevention and treatment. The concept of giving priority to prevention and focusing on prevention is correct.

However, some farmers use drugs for prevention every day. They first use antibiotics for 3 to 5 days, then use antiviral drugs for 3 to 5 days, and then use antibiotics and antiviral drugs repeatedly.

This not only increases the cost of raising chickens, but also destroys the normal flora in the chickens, and also makes the pathogens resistant to drugs, reducing the immune function of the chickens, which is not worth the gain.

7.Vaccine selection and use

Vaccine immunization strains should be adapted to the age of the chickens. For example, the Newcastle disease II vaccine cannot be used for chicks within 30 days of age and for laying hens during peak periods (affecting growth and egg production).

In terms of vaccine immunization methods, there are generally methods such as intranasal instillation, eye instillation, mouth instillation, subcutaneous injection in the neck, chest muscle and leg muscle injection, pricking seeds, and smearing in the anus.

The best immunization method is selected for different vaccines. For example, the attenuated vaccines such as Newcastle disease IV series are best to be instilled in the nose and eyes, the newcastle disease I series is best to be injected intramuscularly, the freeze-dried bursa bursa vaccine is the best to drop the mouth, and chicken pox vaccine is the best. It is best to thorn at the base of the wings, and the oil emulsion inactivated vaccine is best to be injected subcutaneously on the neck.

When diluting the attenuated vaccine, it is best to use normal saline or cold boiled water to dilute it. The diluted vaccine should be used up within 4 hours, and the remaining vaccine should be destroyed.

When the attenuated vaccine is used for drinking water immunity, it is best to use deep well water with 0.3% ~ 0.5% skim milk, and use it after diluting evenly. The water containing the vaccine should be consumed within 1.5 hours. When using grease vaccines, be sure to shake well, pre-warm, and use up the vaccine on the same day after opening.

8.Disease prevention

A certain amount of drugs are added to the feed to prevent and treat mycoplasma disease in chickens. Antibacterial drugs are added to the feed every 4 weeks or so for 3 to 5 days to enhance the disease resistance of chickens.

To prevent parasitic diseases, appropriate amount of drugs can be added to the feed. At the same time, the chickens should be carefully observed, early detection, isolation, diagnosis and treatment!
